What makes us different to others?

Having joined the armed forces at an early age and, presently serving as a Fire Fighter with Dumfries and Galloway Fire service, Dabby ensures that attention to detail, honesty & integrity, fairness and, of course, trust are integral to any job or project that he’s involved in.

Very much an active part of the Newton Stewart community Dabby has never shied away from helping others and, from cutting / trimming back weeds and overgrown foliage from local walkways, providing photographic and videographic data to helicopter companies involved in water dousing activities over various parts of the Galloway hills (during the recent spate of wild fires) to delivering vital supplies to local residents during heavy snowfall a few years ago, Dabby really is focussed on giving something back to his local area and improving things for local businesses.

Visitors to the DabHand Blog on Facebook will also know that Dabby is actively involved in raising funds for local charities and each year creates a stunning calendar, containing some of the images he’s taken from across the region, get’s them printed locally and sells them across the world.
